Finnian is a thorough decorator, who rose to the challenge of renovating my double-decker bay windows, which had suffered extensive decay over the last two, rather wet years especially. He worked long hours to reconstruct the missing or decayed wood features, to a point where the replacement have become indistinguishable from the original. Finnian's ensuing paint job is perfect in every way. He left no nook or cranny unpainted, filled or restored. Thanks to his excellent work, I'm confident the windows will last the test of time... and weather! I am truly glad he did my windows and I am very impressed with the result. (note: the wall looks different on different pics because we removed and replaced the wall render at the same time)

Finn painted my flat recently and it looks GORGEOUS.
Not only is the end result impeccable but Finn was very helpful, friendly, and respectful throughout. Before we began he made recommendations on the type of paint to use in different rooms and parts, consulted on colour choices (I needed a lot of advice!), and explained to me his plan and the reasons for all the steps he was going to do.
In addition to great prep work to clean and sand the surfaces and walls so the paint would look perfect, he also filled numerous cracks between the skirting boards and the walls and replaced some of the caulk around the bath where it had gone mouldy, which is more than I expected than just the paintwork.
Throughout the work, there were also two people living in the flat at the same time and Finn was very considerate of that, working with us to ensure disruption was minimal, as well as respecting the fact the flat was a home full of furniture and possessions and treating everything very carefully.
As an artist as well as a painter, Finn also created a masterpiece in one of the rooms, mixing a base terracotta paint with lighter shades and hand painting multiple layers in varied tones on the walls to create a limewash effect which looks absolutely STUNNING.
Finn was also very communicative and has already provided aftercare advice on how to touch up a chip of paint that got knocked off a few weeks after he'd finished.
If you want a quick job with shortcuts that needs to be redone sooner rather than later then Finn is not your guy... If you want a proper paint job with lasting results then I highly recommend him; I'm so glad Finn was the person who painted my flat!

Finn did the most incredible job decorating our whole house. He restored a lot of the old features, helped with paint selection and problem solving and finished to a higher standard than we would have imagined possible. It looks a like completely new house. Highly recommend.

He pays attention to the detail and carries out a lot of preparation work to the walls before and after each coat to resolve any imperfections.
